10 years DRJUG e.V.

The German-Russian Youth Initiative celebrated its 10th anniversary in Berlin on June 17, 2021. We were happy to welcome distinguished political representatives from Russia and Germany, companions of the association, participants of our youth forums as well as other guests in Moscow and online during a ceremony in the Berlin City Hall.

Since the founding of the association in 2011 by alumni of the German-Russian Youth Parliament, the association has continued to develop with new ideas, members and projects. After 10 successful and exciting years of the association we are now looking forward to our future challenges!

More information here in the press release.

DRJUG e.V. has a new name: In the course of the general meeting in April 2021, the members of the association decided to change the name of the association. Instead of "Alumni Association of the German-Russian Youth Parliament", DRJUG e.V. now stands for "German-Russian Youth Initiative".

10 years after our foundation, this shows the vital development of our association. Today, we recruit members not only from former participants of the Youth Parliament, but also from our projects and through personal meetings.

At the same time, we remain connected to our roots. DRJUG e.V. continues to stand for international youth forums, German-Russian friendship and transnational networking opportunities.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the former board for their commitment and support of our association.

The new 12-member board consists half of Russian and half of German representatives and is led by the co-chairs Mikhail Polianskiy and Beatrice von Braunschweig. We are looking forward to a good cooperation in the new board!
